CHESTER GUITAR CIRCLE

The Chester Guitar Circle meets on the first Wednesday of
every month from 8.00 to 10.30 p.m. at Chester
Deaf Centre, Southview Road, Chester. We play classical music
principally from Spain and South America, and also from other
European countries. The emphasis at the Circle is on performance
by its members. We do not have a concert series. The playing
standard ranges from beginners to semi-professional and
professional. We play guitar solos, guitar ensembles and
ensembles with guitar and other instruments. Some of our ensemble
music has been specially written for Circle members.
Our membership includes some guitar teachers, composers, and professional performers.
We have a library of magazines and cds. The membership fee is £5
per year, with an entrance fee of £2 per session.
